Appointments are scheduled for mornings before sunrise on days where the outside temperature is around 20 to 30 degrees below the indoor house temperature.
The infrared and normal photos are taken of each side of the house. Close-up images may be taken of some heat loss problems. Notes are collected for each of the images. Collecting the infrared images takes about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the house.
For each side of the house or building, a set of two pictures will be inserted into the report - one normal photo and one infrared view. Problem areas will be identified and described below. A summary of the heat loss problems will be prepared and discussed at the end of the report.
A meeting will be scheduled with the clients to deliver the report and review the results. Payment can be made at this time.
